Deeksha Suri
Executive Director, The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group
Deeksha Suri was born into the Suri family of New Delhi, India, one of the country's most prominent names in hospitality. She is the youngest daughter of Dr. Jyotsna Suri, Chairperson and Managing Director of The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group and its parent company, Bharat Hotels Limited, and the late Mr. Lalit Suri, the Founder Chairman who built the LaLiT brand into one of India's leading luxury hotel chains.
Deeksha's elder siblings, Keshav Suri and Divya Suri Singh, also serve as Executive Directors of the Group, each overseeing different areas of the family business.

Growing up immersed in a family enterprise centered on hotels, palaces, and resorts, Deeksha developed an early interest in the hospitality industry. She completed her schooling at Delhi Public School, R.K. Puram, in New Delhi, before going on to earn a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from Hindu College, Delhi University.
She then pursued a Postgraduate Degree in Business Management from the London School of Economics, gaining an international grounding in strategy, finance, and management that would inform her later work in the family business.

Before joining The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, Deeksha worked as a Business Consultant with the Hay Group, where she advised leading companies across the Asia-Pacific and EMEA regions on strategy and operational issues.
That experience in outside consulting gave her a broader vantage point on organizational performance before she brought those skills home to the family enterprise.

Deeksha joined The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group as Executive Director in 2009. She initially took on pivotal roles across Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales, and Business Process Improvement.
Over time, her responsibilities grew to encompass Sales and Revenue Optimisation, Human Relations, People Management, and Learning and Development for the Group. She also oversees the Internal Audit function across the Group's operational properties, helping ensure consistent standards across the portfolio.

Under Deeksha's leadership, the Group has pursued an ambitious expansion strategy beyond India's metropolitan centers and into Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities and emerging travel destinations, including Ayodhya, Siliguri, and Vrindavan.
She has spoken publicly about the untapped potential of smaller Indian towns for the hospitality sector, and has championed an approach that blends modern luxury with authentic local culture and community engagement.

Deeksha has also been a driving force behind the Group's Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) initiatives, working to build a more inclusive workplace culture across the company's properties.
She has been recognized in the Indian hospitality industry for her advocacy of women's empowerment and inclusive leadership, and has been involved in shaping employee value propositions intended to make the Group a preferred employer.

Beyond her corporate role, Deeksha Suri is a travel enthusiast and maintains a disciplined personal fitness regimen. She resides in New Delhi, India, with her family, and continues to play an active role in steering The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group's strategy and growth as it builds on the legacy established by her father.
